The feedback I received was fairly positive. The suggestions I took into consideration and changed was dressing professionally and positioning myself at an angle that my hand movements were seen so that it would be more engaging.

  1. Hey Jennifer,
Dressing up professionally does give the pitch more credibility and makes it feel more professional. Positioning yourself at an angle that your hand movements can be seen does add to the pitch and makes it feel more natural watching it. Your body language also seems more comfortable in front of the camera and you seem more confident. I think the subtle differences you accounted for do make your pitch more engaging overall.

  2. Hey Jennifer,

Good job at dressing up professionally, and in your elevator pitch in general. You have been improving and every time it feels like you do better. I hope that all of this practice can be beneficial for you in the short and long term. Keep going and you will find success.

  3. Hi Jennifer,
I definitely agree with your point about dressing professionally. I think professional appearance just adds a huge amount of credibility, and it’s something I’ve made sure to do as well. It’s good that you chose an angle to accentuate your hand movements, they definitely make the pitch feel more engaging and conversational. I’ve done a couple takes where I’ve slacked on hand gestures, and they seem very unenthusiastic compared to the takes where I remember to focus on them.
    Awesome job!
