I actually have been exposed to a
few entrepreneurs in my life especially in, the past 4 years. My cousin’s best
friend Jared is an entrepreneur, started his own businesses in medical
supplements, contracting, fitness apparel, marketing, and real estate. He is a
millionaire and just 2 years ago moved from Miami to Colombia. He invited my
cousin and me to stay at the mansion he built in Medellin back in 2018. My cousin’s
other best friend and my former boss is also an entrepreneur in the health and
fitness sector. She is a Miami based fitness coach with a following of over 2
million on Instagram.
I enrolled in ENT3003 because it's my last semester at UF, and I heard good things about the class. Also, as I
am ready to go out into the career field and have recently been helping friends
start businesses, I feel like I could gain perspective that will help guide me
in a new direction career wise.

Hi Jennifer! It is good to know that a relative of your was able to succeed in the world of entrepreneurship, and that he is doing very well in Colombia. I hope that you can learn from those experiences and, in the future, use them to your advantage! Good luck on that!

ReplyDeleteWow that is a crazy success story! That mansion is so pretty! It is cool to see your cousin popular on Instagram as that seems to be a good way to gain a following. I also heard good things about this class which is why I took it. I think it will definitely help me out in the future.

ReplyDeleteI think experiences with other entrepreneurs are vital to encouraging a focus on entrepreneurship in a person. I didn’t mention it in my post, but I personally have had many experiences with entrepreneurs in my own life. I think your story about the entrepreneurs in your life is very interesting, and I can certainly see how it would inspire an interest in entrepreneurship.
